Security questionnaire automation that fits a small team

No security department? No problem. TrustDesk drafts answers from what you already have, marks what it can't answer, and gives the finished file back in the customer's format.

For a small business, one large customer's security questionnaire can take a founder or an IT lead several days. Most of the questions have been answered before, but the answers are spread across old files and email threads.

Automation here doesn't mean letting software answer for you. It means reusing what you have already approved, drafting the rest from your own documents, and spending your time only on the questions that are genuinely new.

What slows small teams down

  • No one owns it

Questionnaires land on whoever is free: the CTO, an office manager, a sales lead.

  • Starting from scratch

Without a library of approved answers, every file is a fresh hunt through old replies.

  • Format wrangling

Answers have to go back into the customer's spreadsheet or Word table, cell by cell.

How it works

  • Fill in a short company profile

TrustDesk suggests which security measures apply to a company like yours; you confirm what you have.

  • Import the questionnaire

Upload the customer's file. The questions are found automatically and you confirm the columns.

  • Review the drafts

Drafts come with sources and confidence. Approve the good ones, edit the rest, ask a colleague about the gaps.

  • Export and reuse

Download the original file with your answers filled in. Approved answers are kept for next time.

Built for small teams

  • Free plan and a 14-day trial

Try it on real questionnaires without a card. Paid plans start at €49 a month excluding VAT.

  • Policies included

Generate the security policies customers ask for from your own answers, in Word and PDF.

  • A trust page

Point customers to a page that answers the common questions before they send a file.

  • Safe by default

Drafts never go out unreviewed, and AI drafting can be switched off entirely.

TrustDesk speeds up answering; it doesn't replace the security measures themselves. Answers are only as accurate as the information your team confirms.

Common questions

How long does the first questionnaire take?

Setting up your profile takes about half an hour. After that, the time goes into reviewing drafts and answering the questions your library doesn't cover yet.

We don't have any security policies yet. Can we still use it?

Yes. The policy generator writes a first version from your profile answers for you to review and adapt.

Which formats are supported?

Excel (.xlsx), Word (.docx) and CSV files, including several sheets and tables.

Is there a free plan?

Yes: two seats and two questionnaires a month. Every new organization also gets the Growth plan free for 14 days.
