AI Register add-on

Know which AI tools you use, and what the AI Act expects

The AI Register finds the AI tools your teams already use, records them in one inventory, and walks you through classifying each one under the EU AI Act.

Most companies are deployers under the EU AI Act: they use AI systems built by others. Even then, duties apply, from AI literacy for staff to transparency notices for chatbots and, for high-risk uses, human oversight and record keeping.

The first step is knowing what you use. The AI Register turns that into a maintained inventory with dated classifications, so you can answer customer questions and plan the work that applies to you.

Why an AI inventory is hard to keep

  • Tools arrive bottom-up

Teams sign up for AI features and assistants long before anyone records them.

  • The rules depend on the use

The same model can be minimal risk in one team and high risk in another, depending on what it decides.

  • Customers are asking

Supplier questionnaires now include questions about AI use, data and oversight.

How it works

  • Discover

Import an expense export or send a two-minute staff survey to find the tools in use.

  • Record

Confirm each entry: purpose, data, who it affects and where its output goes.

  • Classify

Answer plain-language questions; the result is a dated record with the duties and dates that follow.

  • Follow up

Assign AI literacy training, copy transparency notices and export an evidence pack.

Included in the add-on

  • Inventory and discovery

Every AI system in one register, from expense imports and staff answers.

  • Guided classification

Risk category, applicable duties and their dates, re-checked when the rules or your answers change.

  • AI literacy training

Short role-based trainings with personal links, acknowledgements and reminders.

  • Transparency notices

Copy-paste chatbot notices and labels for generated content in English, Swedish, German, Dutch and French.

The AI Register helps you understand and document how the AI Act applies to your use of AI. It is not legal advice, and the classification depends on the answers your team gives.

AI Act questions

Do we need an AI inventory?

The AI Act doesn't use that word for most deployers, but you can't apply its duties without knowing which AI systems you use and how. An inventory is the practical starting point.

Does it cover AI literacy?

Yes. You can assign short trainings to staff, collect acknowledgements and export the records.

Is the AI Register included in every plan?

It is an add-on at €39 a month excluding VAT, available with paid plans.

Does it follow the rule changes?

Classifications are versioned against the rules. When the rules or your answers change, TrustDesk prompts you to classify again.
