Getting started
Create your organization, describe your company and confirm your security measures: the first half hour in TrustDesk.
Updated
This guide takes you from sign-up to a workspace that is ready for your first questionnaire.
1. Create your organization
Sign up with your work email and confirm it. Then create an organization: choose Customer if you will use TrustDesk for your own company, or Partner if you manage clients. Every new organization gets the Growth plan free for 14 days, without a card.
2. Fill in the company profile
The profile asks about your company's size, hosting, the data you handle and how your team works. It takes about ten minutes. Your answers are used to suggest which security controls apply, and to write your policies.
3. Confirm your controls
Open Controls. Suggested controls are marked as suggestions; customers never see them as facts. For each control, set the status your team confirms: implemented, partly implemented, planned or not applicable. Add an owner and a note where useful.
4. Add evidence
Upload the documents that prove your controls: policies, certificates, test reports. Each upload is scanned for viruses, and you can link it to the controls it proves. No policies yet? Generate them from your profile under Policies.
5. Invite your team
Under Settings → Members, invite colleagues as admins, members or viewers. Members can draft and edit answers; viewers can only read.
